Achievements



"Pynimėlis" has won many prizes and awards in numerous competitions, and has been a laureate in international competitions:
In 1987, dancers of “Pynimėlis“ became the LAUREATE in the competition at the NATIONAL SCHOOL CHILDREN’S SONG FESTIVAL and were acknowledged as the best pre-teen dance group in Lithuania.
In 1987, dancers of “Pynimėlis“ won 2nd PLACE in the teen dance group competition at the NATIONAL SCHOOL CHILDREN’S SONG FESTIVAL.

  
In 1995, ensemble “Pynimėlis“ won 4th PLACE at FOLK DANCE ENSEMBLES competition “KADAGYS”.
In 1996, ensemble “Pynimėlis“ was awarded a FIRST DEGREE DIPLOMA at the  LITHUANIAN CHILDREN AND SCHOOL CHILDREN"S FOLK DANCE competition “AGUONĖLĖ 1996”, and acknowledged as the BEST children"s song and dance ensemble IN LITHUANIA  
In 1996, dancers of “Pynimėlis“ at the international music and dance competition “LLANGOLLEN INTERNATIONAL MUSICAL EISTEDDFOD“ (Great Britain) were awarded 3rd PLACE in the children’s folk dance category.

  
In 1996, musicians of “Pynimėlis“ at the international music and dance competition “LLANGOLLEN INTERNATIONAL MUSICAL EISTEDDFOD“ (Great Britain) were awarded 3rd PLACE in the folk instruments’ category.

  
In 1997, dancers of “Pynimėlis“ at the international music and dance competition “LLANGOLLEN INTERNATIONAL MUSICAL EISTEDDFOD“ (Great Britain) were awarded 3rd PLACE in the children’s folk dance category.
In 1999, ensemble “Pynimėlis” was awarded a premium at the International Music and Folklore Festival “FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DE MUSICA DE CANTONIGROS” (Spain).
In 2000, “Pynimėlis” was awarded the statuette “AUKSO PAUKŠTĖ”. (“The Golden Bird”) as the BEST Lithuanian song and dance ensemble for 1999.
In 2000, in the international folklore competition at the FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE FOLKLORE 2000 in France, “Pynimėlis” won a special prize of Dijon City – “SPECTATORS’ FAVORITE”.  
In 2001, ensemble “Pynimėlis” was awarded a diploma for ‘ARTISTIC CREATION”  in the program at the FOLK DANCE ENSEMBLES’ competition “KADAGYS”.
In 2004, ensemble “Pynimėlis” won 2nd PLACE in the folk dance category at the festival “MALTA INTERNATIONAL FOLK ART AMITEX 2004”  (Malta).
In 2004, ensemble “Pynimėlis” won 3rd PLACE in the folk music category at the festival “MALTA INTERNATIONAL FOLK ART AMITEX 2004” (Malta).
In 2006, ensemble “Pynimėlis” won 1st PLACE in the folk dance category of the International Music and Folklore Festival “FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DE MUSICA DE CANTONIGROS” (Spain).
In 2007, “Pynimėlis” was awarded the statuette “AUKSO PAUKŠTĖ”. (“The Golden Bird”) as the BEST Lithuanian song and dance ensemble for 2006.  
In 2007, ensemble “Pynimėlis” was awarded a diploma for the best dance choreography at the International Folklore Dance Festival “Eskisehir Ulusiararasi Çocuk Halk Dansiari Yarişmasi” (Turkey).

 		 
In 2008, ensemble “Pynimėlis“ won 1st PLACE at the Lithuanian children and school children folk dance competition “AGUONĖLĖ 2008”, in the category of song and dance ensembles.  
In 2009, at the international folklore festival  “FETES DE LA VIGNE DE DIJON” (France),  “Pynimėlis” ensemble was awarded a special prize of the festival for the most original program.  
In 2010, ensemble “Pynimėlis” won 3st PLACE in the folk dance category of the International Music and Folklore Festival “FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DE MUSICA DE CANTONIGROS” (Spain).
In 2012, ensemble “Pynimėlis“ won 2 st PLACE at the Lithuanian children and school children folk dance competition “AGUONĖLĖ 2012”, in the category of song and dance ensembles.
